Copenhagen 17/12 2020. 44 cl can from Mikkeller Web-shop. A very blue sky with thin clouds on the can.
Pours opaque, hazy, golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Settles as thin patch of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a slightly boozy sweet, fruity odor mingling with light but sharp citric notes. Fermented exotic fruit. Mango, papaya and peach. Alcohol. Citrus and grape fruit.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, soft, slightly viscous, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a fairly strong sweetness followed by a medium strong citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undercurrent. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Seems rather to be a DIPA than anything else with a prominent presence of alcohol and sweetness.
