Pours a hazy, dark orange coloration with a small, fluffy head that soon fades to nothing. Smells of light biscuity malt and fruity and tart mango, passion fruit and lychee notes. Taste is a great balance of light biscuity malt and tropical fruits, with strong notes of mango and passion fruit and lighter lychee, as well as a pleasant underlying acidity. Finishes with a medium acidity, hint of bitterness and some mango and passion fruit lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
This makes for a very nice Imperial Kettle Sour that's quite fruity and refreshing, with a great underlying acidity, while not feeling too heavy or boozy at all despite the hefty ABV. I'm getting a lot of mango and passion fruit from this, especially mango, but not quite as much lychee, to be honest. Overall, this makes for a great summertime thirst quencher that drinks dangerously easy for its ABV, with a nice body and mouthfeel as well.
