Pours a hazy, bright orange coloration with a medium, fluffy head. Smells of light biscuity malt and tropical/citrus hops, with notes of passion fruit, pineapple and lime peel, as well as just a hint of dankness. Taste is a great balance of light biscuity malt and fruity, juicy, slightly dank and grassy hops, with tropical and citrus notes of passion fruit, pineapple and lime peel, as well as just a hint of grassy, herbal weed. Finishes with a light bitterness and some passion fruit and lime lingering in the aftertaste. Soft, pillowy mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
An excellent New England Pale Ale with a great body and mouthfeel for the style, while also being brewed with two of my favorite hop varieties, which come through very nicely here with some passion fruit and dank accents from the Strata and zesty lime peel from the Motueka, while Vic Secret brings some pineapple into the mix, although unfortunately not much pine. The hops are really coming through quite vibrant and expressive here, making for a very enjoyable example of the style
