I had this beer on-tap in a tumbler glass at Keg Sörművház in Budapest.
Appearance: medium orange hue with tons of haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam atop.
Smell: very sweet malt aroma with a dank and generically tropical character. You can also smell the booze wafting off this one. It maybe punches below what an 11% QIPA should, but it's still damn nice.
Taste: very sweet with that same dank/tropical hop flavor from the aroma. The malt has a richness like a barleywine, though: beneath the booze and hop burn are hints of figs, shoe leather, and raw tobacco. An interesting and rich beer!
Mouthfeel: tons of body with a well integrated carbonation and a very nice creaminess indeed.
Overall: this one is really growing on me, not just because of its 11% ABV. It has a rich depth that awards patience.
