Copenhagen 9/3 2025. 37,5 cl heat glass bottle from Meny, Illums, Kbh. K. Black and white etching of a Fox sniffing around some Beer barrels.
Pours opaque murky mahogany with a small white head. Bubbly. Disappears completely after a few seconds. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a light sweet, fermented and fruity odor soon overpowered by a tart scent of unripe berries. A little bit funky. Whiff of alcohol. Red grapes and a hint of currants. Tart gooseberries and a bit of citrus. Sour cheese.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, oily, lily and tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a light sweetness followed by a strong tart sourness. Aftertaste is sour with a very light sweet undercurrent. Lingers for a while. Finish is sour and dry.
Stylish sour brew that reminds me more of a Lambic than a Wild Ale.

Excited to try this one - brought to a bottle share by a guy who picked it up in Italy at the brewery. Poured at fridge temp. Pours dark orange - looks really different. The nose is molasses, grapes, earthy. The taste is fantastic. Sour grapes, orange, and quite acidic. Very low carb level really intensifies the flavors. Dry.

Had heard the italians are killing it in the grape ales so I had to try. I concur with the hype. Grape is a tricky fruit, can get overly sweet or musky in a hurry, but here they kept the grape in a perfect spot, allowing its flaor to serve as the backbone with the funky yeast. Other fruits such as apple, raspberry, cherry, and grapefruit accent, especially in the taste. Truly a unique beer in my experience
