Copenhagen 6/6 2025. 37,5 cl heavy glass bottle from Meny, Illums, Kbh. K. White label with a simple drawing of some sort of crow with a hovering moon I the background.

Pours opaque unclear amber with a small and bubbly white head. Disappears after a few seconds leaving no trace of foam. No lacing.

Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of apricots and peach mingling with a tart, sour scent of unripe berries. Light touch of funk. Gooseberries and currants. Sour cheese.

Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, slightly viscous, almost flat texture.

Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a strong, tart sourness. Aftertaste is sour. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry and acerbic.

Fine sour Ale with touch of ripe apricot.

just my second from these guys, first in a bottle, a spendy small one at that, but thats italian beer isnt it? delicious, but also short of epic for me, done with apricots and brett brux, oak aged, and it seems to have picked up some bacterial sourness beyond what the brett usually produces from the barrel perhaps, orangey and lemony and tangy and funky and also a little vinegar forward and strange, maybe less wild on the ferment side than i was expecting, but vert nice beer, blonde in color, looks almost like white wine, especially being a little light on the carbonation, very short white head of micro bubbles and fading fast, a thin layer of sediment at the bottom of the bottle can be roused or not. the nose is cool, pretty subtle on the fruit but also fully authentic, with even the fuzzy skins sort of coming through to me, almost overripe apricot like when they are all mushy inside and drippy, i dig it. its also rather vinous with the oak and acidity, tart and peppy and cleanish for being brett fermented, less funky than hoped for, less old world, maybe a little less mature too, but the whole thing is just light. the flavor is solid, again some white wine or even just white vinegar sharpness up front, not enough sweetness from the fruit to balance that, but i like how dried out it is too, but maybe a touch overly acidic as a solo bottle. the fruit is mild, the brett is too, both come out a little more as it warms. minerals, lime zest, sweet orange, and sharp white wine round it out, newish oak, white pepper, and dried grass as well. less carbonation than it wants, but a pretty light body too, just a little alcohol pushing through too, no complaints from me on that in this one, it flatters the apricots, almost does an apricot brandy thing. overall cool beer because its quite distinctive and unique, but if its this acidic i want it to be more like lambic most of the time, and this really isnt, too sour to be saison-esque, more familiar brett brux character would flatter this, but its still impressive. i will definitely be on the hunt for more of their beers!

Sour ale with apricot.
Quite hazy orange, white foam, quickly falling down. A bit of gushing.
Apricot in the smell, sourness, good and well balanced.
Sour and brett notes, quite pleasant and clena. Light citrus, light floral. And, of course, apricot.
Aftertaste with citrus notes.
Drinkable, well done.
