Dark brown color with a bit of brownish foam. Aroma is sugary and malty, more like a barleywine or quad, also a bit fruity. Taste is more bitter than expected, dark fruit flavors, some burnt sugar, dried figs, more balanced on the finish. Light to medium body, low carbonation. It's a nice beer but a bit queer for an imperial stout.
