A 440ml can with a BB of Aug 2018. Purchased recently from Trembling Madness in York. The label describes it as a double dry-hopped IPA brewed with Chinook and Simcoe.
A: Poured into an IPA glass. Can-conditioned. A hazy orange-marmalade hue with fine suspended sediment and good carbonation. Yields a large head of creamy white foam that lasts for a few minutes before reducing to a patchy surface layer. Slight lacing.
S: Aroma of vividly fruity hops with hints of lemon, citrus zest, peel, papaya, tropical fruit, stone fruit, white grape, grass, pale malt, ale yeast and subtle earthiness. Simply sublime.
T: Tastes of intensely fruity aromatic hops with notes of grapefruit, lemon, citrus zest, peel, guava, papaya, tropical fruit, stone fruit, white grape, grassiness, pale malt, ale yeast and earthiness. Pretty dry, followed by a powerful hop-driven bitterness upon swallowing.
M: Mouthfeel is smooth, tingly and dry, with lively carbonation and good body. Quite astringent; hop oils tickle the palate. Aftertaste of bitter fruity hops, tropical fruit, grapefruit, citrus, grass, leafiness, earthiness, ale yeast and pale malt.
O: Fantastic - incredibly fresh hoppy beer! Looks alright, while the aroma and flavour are amazingly fruity with a smorgasbord of hop character on offer. Great body; smooth and lightly textured. So good you just don't want it to end. Well worth sampling if you have the chance.
