Pours a cloudy, purple coloration with a large, fluffy head. Smell is domianted by fragrant juniper and sloe berries, imparting a distinct plum aroma. Taste follows the nose, with a great balance of distinct juniper and slow berry character, with the latter lending a strong plum notes to this. Finishes with a medium bitterness and tartness, as well as some juniper and sloe berry lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
This makes for a really nice Kettle Sour, with the juniper and sloe berries working together very well here, as well as a great balance of slightly sweet and rather tart and bitter notes. There's that certain Gin character to this that they were surely going for, while kinda reminding me of Pimm's as well. Very fruity and refreshing thanks to its dry, bitter and tart character.
