Welsh Red Ale
Sometimes you’ve just got to lean into your heritage when brewing a beer. As a proud beer producing nation we often find Wales is left behind more fashionable English and Scottish contemporaries in beer conversation. With this in mind and with the mid-Winter weather as a jumping point, we wanted to create a beer that pays homage to our home country and everything it encapsulates – the result is Am Byth, a hoppy Welsh red ale born of passion for the rolling hills and valleys in which we’re lucky to call home. Letting the malt lead the way, this beer bursts with biscuity sweetness, before a gentle addition of Amarillo and Simcoe brings the bitterness. All together now – Cymru Am Byth.

440ml can.
L: Hazy, chestnut colour with a thin, short-lived head that reduces to a smear and leaves spotty lacing.
S: Soft and herbal.
T: Spicy rye.
F: Medium body
O: Not a big fan of this style but tasty nonetheless.
