Collaboration with Indie Rabble.
It was back in the early Summer that captain of the good ship A Hoppy Place David reached out to us to let us know he was opening a new brewery and we were high on his shortlist to snag for a collaboration to introduce his brewery to the world. Sadly our schedules just didn’t align quite properly to get that Summertime brew in the bag, but we promised a spot on a nationwide event that we had bubbling away in the background, which became our sixth birthday collabs. Bringing that passion for all things old school that we love so much, we agreed with our pals at Indie Rabble that some classic west coast bitterness wouldn’t go amiss amid a tidal wave of modern juicy beers. Sharing our infatuation for melding old and new school together, Horizon Scan is a modern take on a classic style. Citra and Cascade on the hot side, Mosaic and HBC 630 on the cold side to create a beer with resinous, aggressively bitter backbone, with a bloom of citrus notes toward the end.
