A collaboration long in the making - we’ve been honoured to call the team at Duration friends stretching back before their incredible Norkfolk brewery was up and running - being treated to a tour of the site and (legally) breaking in with Miranda and Bates before they had even broke ground in 2019. Like ships passing in the night, we’ve managed to miss one another since but when planning our seventh birthday beers we already knew our East Anglian pals were top of the list to work with. Wanting to express our shared love of the old school to give a little bit of a break from the new school haze on this year’s lineup, we’ve gone full throttle with a West Coast IPA that pays homage to the brewers of yesteryear, but with one foot in the present to boot. Keeping it simple on the hop bill with three pillarstone hops in Citra, Simcoe and Chinook, we’ve layered the hot side additions to create a West Coast beer that is unashamedly bitter but with a clean piney and resinous finish.
