We stopped in to have a brew and lunch from the food trucks. The bar area is small but vibe is good. We sat outside on a picnic table near the food trucks. They had two food trucks, one from Bayside restaurant and another gourmet grilled cheese truck. The grounds were very clean and it seemed like you are on a farm with no development nearby. We had a nice time and will be coming back.

Great location to gather and drink beers outside weather permitting. Weekends feature live music, food truck, corn hole, and beautiful scenery. In the cold weather, you can drink inside the brewery, and still have plenty of room to move about. They let you walk past the tanks and enter the back of the brewery, where you'll find live music, and the food truck moved inside the brewery. A lot to like about this location, the downside, in my opinion, every beer I've had from here is not very good, at all. Take Tree House, Bissell Brothers, The Alchemist, Maine Beer Company, and this beer would be the opposite of that. The higher ratings that it gets, I'm guessing that it's from people that haven't really experienced good beer. Come for the vibe and scenery, don't come thinking you'll find a great beer. Better than PBR, Bud, and Miller, sure, but that's not saying much.

I've been here twice. The first time it was a standard farm in the middle of nowhere that sold beer.I knew that Pretty Things contract brewed here, but no bottles were on site. Not much of a vibe at that time

But since the craft beer revolution this place has made an excellent turn for the better. This is a true farmhouse taproom. Its a lovely farm with great views. Bring the pup, bring the kids. Plenty of space. Come on a sunny day.

The beers are average. This is a beautiful brewery though, and I only wished that they had more beers and a better selection. They also seem to have events.

Unfortunately, for you the visitor, there arent many breweries in this part of Mass. You are going to have to drive north. But for what its worth, take a visit.

This is a spectacular location - it could only be made better with a water view. This is a 140 acre farm site in Westport, MA that is absolutely beautiful. Well-tended lawn area, plenty of places to place chairs or spread a picnic blanket, quite a few tables.

Live music was being played - nice folk/blues trio. The crowd was enjoying the beautiful weather and music, generally a sweet vibe all 'round. The ubiquitous corn hole game was being played, and some kids were enjoying the tetherball. Family friendly for certain.

Advertised a "gourmet" food truck that was, in actuality, adequate at best and over-priced for what it was. Mainly typical sandwiches that were just OK, not "gourmet". Food service was good enough - they were jammed. I'm not sure how much that counts for or against the place. It's what they do - a place to hang, live tunes, guest food truck, beer.

And that was the downfall - the beer was not very good. I think the 3.86 overall is quite generous. The beer was lacking flavor and somewhat stale tasting - dirty lines, possibly? Four available were all sampled - Golden Flounder was pretty much a glass of water; Moby D - supposed to be an Altbier, but lacking the color, aroma, or delicate flavors associated with the style; Buzzard's Bay IPA - a ho-hum IPA, but the better of the four beers; Horseneck Golden IPA - using local ingredients including hops, but not quite the "summer in a glass" the menu sheet proclaimed.

It is obvious that this spot is not about the beer - it's a local hangout and definitely a wonderful setting for just enjoying the atmosphere and the opportunity to chill with friends. (and as first time visitors there was a little "you ain't from around here" vibe from the crowd at times - obviously the "regulars" have their spots and that's fine. The servers were great - friendly and enthusiastic). They have some fabulous looking events on their calendar. In my opinion, if the beer were even average this place would be a 100% slam dunk go-to destination on any nice day here in SEMass. It is what it is, but it seems to me there's a ton of untapped potential.

And I'm convinced that the claim to the "greenest brewery" must refer to the fields and meadows...
