Taster at brewery. Dark, clear golden pour, wispy head. Hoppy, piney aroma, sweet malts, toffee. Taste is hoppy, woody, earthy., caramel. Kind of astringent.

A: Pours a copper color with 2 fingers of head that slowly fades down to a nice cap that leaves good lacing

S: A mix of earthy hops and some caramel maltiness up front along with some lighter floral and citrus notes

T: Follows the nose. Starts off with a mix of earthy, spicy, and floral hops along with the caramel maltiness. Low bitterness that slowly builds to moderate as the caramel fades. Some lighter citrus and pine notes pop up as well

M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Firm

O: A super balanced DIPA that leans more towards a mix of west coast and English style. Very easy to drink. Far from a hop bomb though, so avoid if that’s what you’re into

Piney and bitter, heavy mouthfeel, nice flowery bouquet, dark orangey color with a nice head from an aggressive pour. A pretty decent double IPA. Had at Joseph's in Old Orchard Beach, Maine. 06.24.2019

Solid if unexceptional, mostly old school west coast take on the style. Nearly clear dark gold body with a creamy cap of foam and patchy lacing - attractive looking beer to be sure.

Resinous and dank with lighter citrus notes and stone fruit. Slightly sweet and bready malt character. Medium bitterness with a bit of aspirin quality; this is a well balanced brew all around. Some fusel notes in the aroma that emerge in the flavor as the beer warms but not to an unwelcome degree.

Medium body with neatly crisp carbonation, feels full, creamy and lively. Nice antidote to the juice bombs of the day; most certainly not built in the NEIPA style and in this instance, just what I was looking for.

Note this beer was given to me in a super cool mini-keg growler, not sure what they charge for it at the brewery but terrific packaging and an excellent fill as well - stayed in pristine condition for three weeks before opening.
