Had the opportunity to do two flights (8-beers) here on Thanksgiving Eve. This place is a hidden gem. As someone who has had many world-class beers are the top Beer Geek favored breweries, i'd say that this place is really respectable as far as breweries in the US go right now (one of the best in the state, great for the mid-atlantic region, not enough to crack the top 30 of the Northeast).
This place does IPAs really well, but the one stout on tap was as good as I've ever had for a non-adjunct stout. Based on quality of those beers, i'd say this place is already able to make beers as good as Carton. I feel like if these guys canned and wanted to do it, they could make beers as good as someplace like The Alchemist (meaning these beers would have been phenomenal in 2008). Some of the more approachable beers, however, are not memorable (like the pale ale, scotch ale, etc).
The one milkshake IPA on draft I had was good but not great, and suggests that they have a little ways to go in that department. Obviously, not as good as Treehouse or Tired hands
