A classic English best bitter using Maris Otter, Crystal, Amber and Black malt alongside WGV, Challenger, Goldings and Sovereign hops. This gives the beer caramel and biscuit notes married with earthy, spicy and fruity flavours & aromas from the hops.

Hand-pulled pint in The Eagle, Boston, Lincolnshire on 29 Mar 2013.
Reddy-mid brown body, clean and clear looking with a light biege head of bubbles.
Slightly more malts than hop notes in the aroma and taste: mildly toffee with a mini bitter finish. Nothing to test your taste buds but an OK beer non-the-less.
Body depth was fine and I'd have had another if the bus wasn't due to leave!
