I got a can of this beer from the brewery whilst there for my son's hockey showcase. The beer was canned on November 21, 2023.....so a little old....it was from Lot #231006. It poured a murky dark amber with khaki ring head and no lace. The scent a waifs of tart berry. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to sip. There was common light caramel malt base with tart berry presence and dark fruit highlights. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with mild carbonation. Overall it is an ok beer.

Taster at the source, the star of the flight.
Brilliantly clear dark brown with ruby at the edges and a thin white head that slowly recedes. Clove and sweet dark fruits against some light treacle, Belgian yeast character and light warming alcohol. Hits all the notes for a Quad, great brew!

Round 2 tonight at Odd, during dinner with daughter Caitlin. Had a 12oz tulip for $10.00.
Was an opaque, deep brown. Topping was a very thin, light tan layer of foam. Lacing was decent, all in all. Medium-bodied, with nothing to eff up the feel on the tongue.
Flavor was extremely fruity, with some raisins and dates, but heavy on the cherry. Semi-sweet for the most part, with a hint of dryness finish-wise. Solid!! Prosit!
