Taster at the source.
Solid inky black in color with a thin tan head that dissipates quickly. Earthy roasty licorice and light smoke with a hint of brown sugar and chocolate.

Stopped into Odd Fellows today with Alewife for a couple of pops... I had two 12oz pours of this, at $9.00 per....
Was jet black and opaque, with a thin, creamy, fine layer of tan bubbles. Most of said foam was rim-side, with decent lace. Aroma was very heavy on the chocolate, being pleasant and inviting. Had a medium-plus body, and was rather smooth.
Flavor was heavy with dark choco and cocoa. A bit semisweet, with minimal bitterness. The finish was slightly earthy, with a subtle touch of peanut butter. A very nice brew!! Prosit!!
