Part of the Brewers Choice experimental line. This is a Christmas season themed porter flavoured with Candy cane (peppermint).
Moderate short-lived head that settles to a partial ring o er a walnut dark brew. Common to look at. Nose is gentle peppermint under laid by some porter notes. The peppermint is subtle, but its just one of those flavours that dominates - there is no escaping it. Peppermint also to taste, some porter under there but is subtly buried. As you go the peppermint persists on your palate a d gently pushes everything else aside. Fine as a seasonal imbibe.
