I'm an old fart with a lot of palate decrepitude going on so I'm not trying to convince the would-be sommelier crowd that this is awesome sauce, but I am with MeanMotaScootah in that the nose amazed me.

I was at my local Bezos-owned outpost and they were light on my go-to stuff so I got a four-pak of this 'cause of a wild hair. It was canned about a month ago according to the date on the bottom of the can. Any port in a storm? Whatever.

Anyway, nose was great. Without adding anything, it was reminiscent of what my friends in the great white north refer to as a Grapefruit Radler, swill beer mixed with grapefruit juice, but in a good way.

In my view, great for a hot summer day when you need fuel for a nap. Refreshing and easy to drink, even for beer snobs.

 

 

If there was ever a beer that would match its exact name this is it. Its aroma is amazing, as it's exploding with guava and citrus notes. Mouthfeel is creamy and dreamy. Taste follows aroma with gobs of sweet creamy hops goodness. Big beer but no alcohol heat. A must try.
