Clear amber brew with plenty of foam in the Maredsous goblet. Aromas of peach and lemon with something woody. This has an interesting fruity taste that is hard to place at first. Flavors of canned peaches with melon, orange peel, and hints of hibiscus. Rather sweet and malty with a dark finish and some astringency. Moderately bitter aftertaste. This is actually drinkable enough, but the sweet and the bitter do not play well together. From the 16 oz can purchased at O'Shea's Brewing. Dated July 2024.
