Fresh release from Sea Change and a foray into West Coast IPA.
Essentially clear bright golden pour with towering three fingers of tight bubbly white head.
Nose is piney, notes of orange/grapefruit oil, cereal malt and as warms hits with a sweaty, weedy dankness, notes of over ripe citrus and mango.
Sweet grainy caramel malt on the palate - pine, grapefruit pith, overripe tropical fruit, mango, and a bit of dank and sticky resinous oils; nicely balanced bitterness.
Bright and crisp medium mouthfeel - malty sweetness melds nicely with the piney and citrus rind bitterness.
Best beer I have come across from Sea Change - well done West Coast.
