In Collaboration with Cabin Brewing - Frozen Fresh Hopped IPA. Aromas of nectarine and honeysuckle lead into pineapple and cantaloupe, followed by just-assertive-enough bitterness and a subtle off-dry finish. Pillowy mouthfeel and clean supporting malt character combine to provide a well-balanced structure for this unique expression of hops.

Pours a mildly hazy apricot colour with two plus fingers of creamy eggshell ever so slightly off white head.
Aroma starts off earthy, even a bit sweaty and dank, hints of pine and peach, but as warmed over ripe pineapple, tropical fruit and melon break in giving a tantalizing nose.
Taste certainly starts earthy and herbal, a bit dank; notes of pine resin, peach, melon, papaya - a gentle earthy and weedy bitterness coats the palate; bready malt sweetness.
Creamy and smooth medium full mouthfeel with brisk carbonation - that lingering sticky, earthy, and weedy bitterness remains.
Delightfully delicious - for whatever reason in the moment this was fantastic!!!

A collab brew with Cabin.

Appearance - Pours a hazy gold with four fingers of frothy white head that leaves some pleasant looking lace on the glass.

Smell - earthy, citrus, tropical, hint of piney, and floral hops, citrus peel, hint of pine resin, peach, honeydew melon, cantaloupe, hint of pineapple, apricot, bready malts, and earthy yeast.

Taste - earthy, citrus, tropical, hint of piney, and floral hops upfront. The citrus peel, light pine resin, peach, honeydew melon, cantaloupe, bold notes of apricot, and hint of pineapple come through next. The bready malts and earthy yeast round out the brew.

Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes sticky and slightly sweet from the hops and fruits especially the cantaloupe and apricot.

Overall - An interesting concept by flash freezing fresh hops in the brew. I like the variety of flavours in this one especially with how the cantaloupe and apricot take precedence but still make it an engageable brew.
