Poured into a pint glass, the appearance was a rusty red color with a sky transparency about it. Mild carbonation could be seen rising at a decent pace to fill a finger’s worth of white foamy head. Sky messy lace. The aroma had some sweet caramel/toffee malts playing with a crisp piney bitter hoppiness. The flavor had the same playful piney bitter to caramel/toffee malty balance to it. Sky crisp hoppy to semi-malty aftertaste rolling into the same sort of finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Mild carbonation was felt. Semi-smooth on my tongue. Overall, nicely done amber ale worthy of having again.
