On tap at brewpub. This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a semi-dark red color with a slim finger-ed white foamy head. Minimal lacing. The smell started off with a subtle chocolatey malts and then a nice roasted nutty edge in and around it. The taste was mainly the same with a semi-wet nutty to chocolatey aftertaste. Light nutty finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with pretty good sessionability about it. Carbonation runs light and smooth. Overall, wow, what a really nice amber ale that I know I’d have again.
