Pale copper body. Thin off white head. Pretty ambivalent aroma. Not a lot of hops or much of anything. Dusty malts. On the palate there's not a lot of hoppiness. More sweet and malty than hoppy....odd for an IPA. I get caramel malt flavors and baked bread and a bit of spicy hops. Medium bodied and lightly carbonated. Creates a full feel to it. It's not off putting but it's just not IPA like.

Look: Chestnut/burnt orange color. Darker than most (Score=3.5)
Smell: Interesting. Raisins, caramel and toffee malt notes. Hops aroma is light..
Floral/herbal notes with just a touch of oranges...(Score=3.5)
Taste: Leans malty. Toasted caramel, toffee, dark berries reminding of elderberries and blackberries....hint of blueberries...A little leather on the finish...(3.75)
F-Medium bodied. Not over bitter. Nice balance to this with more of a berry fronted hop load. (4.0)
O-Enjoyable beer that would fit better as a regular pale ale. Well made, tasty and enjoyable. I expect more hops from an IPA but I really enjoy the toasted caramel maltiness mixed with the berry like hop impression. (3.75)

On tap at the brewpub. This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a hazy burnt orange color. Small thin white head. Very little lacing. The smell took in a huge amount of sweet and bitter grapefruit pulp and rind, some slight extra citrus and then some pine underneath. Light amount of piney hops blend in underneath. The taste was a nice balance between the grapefruit, citrus and pine. Semi-sweet lemon to grapefruit aftertaste. Quick sweet finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body. Somewhat sessionable. Nicely carbonated. Overall, what a really nice AIPA, I’d have again.

Poured a bit hazy yellow , smelled good with citrus and some stone fruit. Tastes sharp with a good bitter but a little chalky. Good body, but again a little chalky. Overall a good IPA

Picked up a 4-pack when up in Vermontlasrweek. Solid double IPA all around. Smells of orange hoppy citrus. Tastes similar. Mouthfeel is good and drinkable. A nice pickup unbeknownst at the Phat Italian. Would definitely pickup again if I saw it.

Wut??? This is a double IPA??? (Can says 7.2%)
Poured from a 16 oz undated can, but it must be fairly fresh as it only recently showed up on the store shelf in Ludlow, along with their "Better Dayz" double.. It drinks like a single. not much nose, mostly malt, not very bitter, clean crisp finish. I like it, but it doesn't stack up to big aromatic Vermont IPAs. Pours completely clear medium amber. It's good beer, but give it to me in a $10 six pack in the summer.
