Purchased can during a VT visit and I wish I'd acquired the full 4-pack. Colorful packaging from a colorfully named brewery. Product is a solid DIPA. I wondered if the 9.0% ABV would be a bit too strong but it's not a dominating factor in the taste. I'm impressed and will purchase more than one when the future opportunity arises.

Pours a bright golden hue with a fluffy head into my glass. Subdued citrus aroma in nose is a disappointment. Not sure if they were going for West Coast or NE DIPA but the bitterness is too much upfront. Nice touch of malt though.

Aha, I get it! A throwback to the classic West Coast iteration with just the right touch of hops and malt. Very well done.

This was poured into a tulip at the brewpub. The appearance was a ruddy burnt copper color with a bar pour’s kind of thin white foamy head. Quick dissipation. No lace. The aroma had some citrusy smooth sweet and bitter hops up front. Some caramel/toffee malts to balance. The flavor leaned towards the sweet side initially through the blend of the malts and the sweeter side of the hops. Bitterness was quite tame throughout. Sweet hoppiness and maltiness in the aftertaste and finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. For a DIPA, I could definitely take the reins of this one a bit more than expected. ABV felt appropriate. Overall, definitely a sweeter DIPA.

On tap at Hop n Moose

Traditional Vermont double IPA with a smooth, yet crisp finish

Tap poured into a snifter, thin white layer quickly settles to a ring on the edges with some lacings

Golden amber, streams of carbonation

Don't get much of an aroma

Slight tropical hops , citrus hops on the taste

Smooth on the tongue , Moderate sudsing , crisp finish , sessionable

Good beer
