Can to becher pint glass.
The appearance was a nice looking bronzed copper color with a sly transparency about it. Some carbonation could be seen rising at a moderate pace. Finger's worth of white foamy head slid off at a nice pace. Barely any lace.
The aroma balanced very nicely between some pumpkin sweetness, light toffee/caramel malts, some biscuits and then a light cinnamon/allspice sort of intake.
The flavor accommodated a very nice blend of the pumpkin sweetness with the spices. Slight sticky to brisk sweet pumpkin pie crust-like character and all coming together in the aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt good. ABV felt on par. Finish felt great as a pumpkin ale - balancing the spice to the malts very nicely.
Overall, first time I had this on draft at the brewpub last Autumn (2016), I thought it needed "tweaked." Did they listen to me? Not sure, but something changed that made this a lot better.
