had a growler of this from up in VT. Quality beer and in my opinion the best of all barbarian offerings. (Pink, Yellow, Green)

Poured into an English pint glass.
The appearance was a light hazy pale yellow color with a thin cap of a little white foamy head. Slight lace concavely slid with the sips.
The aroma had a sweet crushed mango, sweetgum, fresh spruce needles, slight Wintergreen mint and a touch of sweet tree bark.
The flavor pushes a ton of dry sprucy sweet pine needles into some remnants of crushed white pepper, tree bark and Wintergreen mint. The aftertaste brought the mango sweetness back to mesh with the mint, tree bark and some dried piney fresh needles.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fine sessionability about it. Carbonation felt just a wee bit higher than expected to be a New England styled one. I didn't mind. ABV felt as projected. Dry crisp sweet and piney hoppy with a lingering bitterness in the finish.
Overall, I think they were going for a New England styled IPA, and though they met some marks towards that style, the lighter 'haze' and higher carbonation left me realize this is a beer that's well brewed for what it is but not a true 'New England styled' IPA.
