Can dated 04/11/19.
This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a yellowed paper/orange murky hued body capped by a thin finger's worth of white foamy head. Lace is sticky.
The aroma definitely had a huge dry hopping but I can't quite right tell which one of the hops held the forefront. The smells that I noticed were pineapple, grassy zest, piney wood and some orange rind.
The flavor leaned into the dryness of the pineapple and piney wood. Some bitterness developing and taking a stronger hold as it warmed. Still, very dry in the aftertaste with piney wood, orange rind and some grassiness.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a sly stickiness surrounding it. Carbonation felt nice and low key for a New England styled one. ABV felt appropriate. Finish was semi-sticky and dry with some orange rind and pineapple.
Overall, definitely not a true New England styled IPA per se but still quite good for an American styled IPA. I'd have again.
