Poured into a tulip, the appearance was a burnt golden/almost amber color with a finger's worth of white foamy head dissipating finely to leave a full on glaze of sticky speckled lace.
The aroma had some pineapple sweetness, mango, and citrus pithy bitterness rolling into some biscuit/doughy tones.
The flavor leaned towards the sweet side trolling some bitterness from the citrus pith. Subtle grassy spicy hops in the aftertaste with that biscuit/doughy malt.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Some dryness invades towards the bitterness to penetrate my tongue. Finishes semi-crisp with a long citrus pithy dryness.
Overall, decent enough as a DIPA I might be able to come back to.
