Had a four pack and now on my last one. I couldn't find any date anywhere.
Three out of four of them were poured into tulips. My third pour was in Heady stemless teku.
This one is out of a tulip.
The appearance was a great looking burnt yellow to orange woody color with a small finger's worth of white foamy head. Settled at a nice pace and left a nice glaze of lace all around my glass.
The aroma had some tangerine pulp sweetness meshing with some semi-sweet lime and a secondary ripe tang clenching my nose. Mellow biscuity malt. Some lighter notes of iced pineapples.
The flavor moderately leaned towards the sweet side with a subtle bitter citrus rind coming about. Some grassiness and tangerine pulp in the aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Nice low carbonation. Some smoothness but also some grassy scraping bitterness but not bad. Finishes with some grassy tones and iced pineapples.
Overall, pretty nicely done New England styled IPA.
