This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells pretty chocolatey, with a touch of oak, vanilla, and roasted malt.
I’ve never had anything from this brewery, and this was a completely random pick off the shelves at Craft Beer Cellar. I’m happy the can caught my eye. This is super soft, with a subtle but pleasant oakiness, and tons of chocolatey goodness. There’s a touch of bitter roast to help keep the sweetness in check.
This is medium bodied, slightly thin but decently creamy, with a really nice drinkability.
I really enjoyed this one – it hit the spot and scratched my porter itch.
