Hazy, dirty gold color. Smaller head that settles quickly to a film of fine bubbles. Some small streaks and independent spots are left on the glass.

Pleasant pale malt initial aroma that provides a touch caramel sweetness. The hop is subtle to the nose, providing a background bouquet.

This is a well-balanced beer with the malt holding up through the swallow. The body is rich but with a little alcohol oiliness. Ample counteracting carbonation. The hop bitterness bites the most in the swallow and provides for a more lengthy aftertaste. The alcohol is present and quite warming in the throat. It actually seems more boozy than the 7.5% abv suggests.
