Absolutely delicious. For a 9.8 ABV beer this IPA has it all. I cant think of anything bad about the great taste of Grapes, pineapple. Not a lot of head just a minute or two after pouring. Just the right amount of aroma. The color is your typical golden IPA and unfiltered. Definitely warrants a 100%, world class. Great job Ubergeek!!

Turning Point was fun. Comfortably set up with picnic tables that encourage conversation with fellow craft beer aficionados. There were a few families that brought in dinner in and others who got something from the Food Truck out front. One particular guy offered us cupcakes. This night's beer selection was heavy with IPAs. Turning Point is definitely a place beer lovers must visit.

I'm just going to say it.... I don't get the hype surrounding this place.
Location is a bit odd, in an old shopping center in the burbs. Which is fine (I actually live pretty close by and its nice to see more places like this popping up), but the interior does little to add to the vibe. Just too open and bare for my tastes. The two times I have been it's also seemed a little dirty and unkempt with unattended children sprinting back and forth and yelling. I get being family friendly but come on....
The beers themselves are where they really start to lose me. It just seems like this place is taking advantage of a bit of a craft beer vacuum and riding the hazy IPA bandwagon to the bank. I get that NEIPAs need to be enjoyed young but the couple I've tried here would be better described as "green" than "fresh" and both had noticeable hop burn. I'd also call them more murky than hazy and just generally unappealing. While admittedly not my favorite style there are multiple commercially available examples I'g grab over the few I've sampled here.
In summary not a bad place by any means and honestly I'll probably be back again just because it's convenient. However, given their average beer ratings and the prices they charge for a 4-pack ($16), it seems I must not be seeing or tasting what everybody else is.

Visited because of social medi recommendation. A good choice!
Very enjoyable, laid back atmosphere. Excellent fresh beer served promptly with a smile. Liberal food policy. Held to go purchases in cooler until ready to leave. Would definitely recommend and return to someday when next in this part of DFW.

Did a beer trade at this location. The folks had no issue with bring in beer from outside. Very pleasant and accommodating staff. Even provided sample glasses for a beer share using one of th outside beers.
