This crisp and flavorful lager will soothe your soul on a hot day. Kick back, relax and experience island life with a locally-crafted, golden lager.

Our Island Life® Lager is a classic German-style beer. Brewed with pilsner malt for a crisp, crackery malt base then hopped with German and Czech hops that lend balance and a clean floral aroma.

Drank from a 12 oz can in St John; birth date 3/22/22. Straw color with minimal head. Sweet lager taste with light malt backing. Low ABV makes for easy drinking. Okay.

Presentation: 12 oz. can with the canning date printed on the bottom. Served in a Samuel Adams pint glass.

Appearance: The bright white, half finger head goes away fairly quickly and  leaves behind a foam ring and a lot of patchy lacing. It's a clear, watery, pale straw color.

Smell: It's not that aromatic. Just a soft, simple, sweet grain smell with a hint of a floral note in the background.

Taste: It has an interesting flavor profile with a malty sweetness taking up the most room.  A sharp citrusy bitterness takes over as it goes down and it fades fairly quickly as well so as to not be overwhelming.

Mouthfeel: It's light, crisp and refreshing with a very light body and medium-high carbonation. Nothing unexpected here.

Overall: A soft and refreshing beer that's definitely better than any mass produced, adjunct light lager out there but doesn't really bring anything new to the table. And that's okay! It's very enjoyable nonetheless.
