I got a can of this beer from my good friend and old neighbor from the 'Wego with whom I share with another 'Wego friend at his home in Naples, FLO-RIDA. It poured an opaque dark with tan head that did not leave any lace. The scent had roast, chocolate notes with subtle vanilla highlights. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with roast, vanilla and chocolate flare. The mouthfeel was lighter in body and had fizzy carbonation. Overall it is a good beer...got better as the carbonation settled and the temp rose.

Presentation: 32 oz. crowler, served in a pint glass.
Appearance: The quarter finger, tan colored head goes away quickly and leaves behind some patchy lacing. It's a very dark brown color.
Smell: A soft cocoa aroma shows up right away with musty, raw cocoa and vanilla scent right after. A sweet, molasses or brown sugar note wraps things up.
Taste: It's rich and chocolatey at first with a touch of coffee bitterness. The vanilla sweetness shows up in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: It's smooth and creamy but not overly heavy, it's actually more medium to light bodied which is nice for warm weather. Carbonation is low.
Overall: A very good stout with just the right touch of cocoa and vanilla in it. It's lighter than average for the style but that's to be expected from a Caribbean brewery where most of their drinkers have warm weather year-round.
