Eagle, Globe & Anchor is a tropical West Coast IPA brewed in honor of tradition, service, and sacrifice. Flavors and aromatics pop with layers of lemon-lime, Sauvignon Blanc, melon and pine. Enjoy with loved ones in mind, past and present.

This beer pours a golden-amber color with a medium cream head. The aroma is tropical fruit and citrus with a touch of spice. Nice malt body and a little bit of hop bitterness on the finish. Well balanced and tasty. Rated 7-13-2024

Rich yellow amber brew with abundant foam in the big Stout glass. Light bodied and sudsy on the tongue. Aromatic with mango and orange. Flavorful hoppy brew leaning to the tropical fruit with a citrus finsh and a whiff of pine. Not overly bitter but in the usual West Coast range. Sturdy and well made with the robust range of tastes. More orange in the aftertaste and plenty of bitterness. Calls for another sip. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. Dated 05/24/24.

16oz can purchased at Rocket Market, high atop Spokane's South Hill. Judging by what EGA stands for in the description, this is brewed out of respect for the United States Marine Corps. Canned on May 24, 2024, per the stamp on the bottom of the can.

Poured into a suitable glass, this was a clear, golden amber, with a big, creamy looking, off-white head. Beer neglige style lace.

The nose definitely lives up to the description on the side of the can. This is a fruit forward IPA, with notes of tropical fruits and bitter pine.

Taste is grapefruity (more so than in the nose) up front, and then there's a deep, papaya and melon seeming sweetness, with a mildly bitter, piney finish, which is a little soft for something described as a WCIPA.

Medium bodied, with a resiny mouth feel much like a WCIPA, except it's a little softer.

In a weird way, this is almost like a hybrid of the West Coast IPA and New England hazy styles, but it definitely leans more towards the former. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and would drink it again.

Can from Market of Choice.

A clear golden yellow with a dense white head with good retention and lacing. The nose is a tasty, bright, bitter blend of pine, melon, grapefruit and some papaya. Minimal malt character, though there is a touch of fruity yeast , almost lager like, present. The palate opens bitter with pine, grapefruit zest before a modern WCIPA blend of melon, a little peach and papaya take over. Clean, bitter, a touch mineral on the finish. Quite excellent.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium golden amber, a little fizzy at first, but creating a one finger white head with good retention and thick lacing. Aroma of caramel malt, citrus and tropical fruit hops, orange, mixed tropical fruit and a little pine. Flavor is pale malt, citrus and piney hops, orange, grapefruit, vague tropical fruit; interesting pine and unfamiliar tropical fruit notes in the finish, with lingering, mildly resinous bitterness. Medium bodied with light creaminess and sharp carbonation. A well made IPA, although I would have liked more of the aroma character in the flavor, which is more citrus than tropical and had no caramel, which the aroma got me interested in. The being said, it's a nice, appropriately bitter (something I appreciate more and more these days) IPA with an offbeat, but flavorful hop bill. I look forward to trying other IPAs from these guys.

16 oz can dated Feb 28/19 (3 weeks old).
Pours clear goals, with generous creamy white head, but...
the head & carbonation decrease substantially within a minute.

Taste is clean, light, refreshing, reserved. Like a citrusy tonic water. 6.8% abv is hard to detect. Thick tongue aftertaste.
Reminds me of Buoy IPA.

First beer I've had from this brewery....perhaps I've absorbed an unrealistic amount of hype.
A very professionally executed product, but not an exceptionally interesting recipe. For the price, not great.
I would definitely try another IPA from them....this one was just my first shot.

Nearly clear golden body with a frothy white foam. Good retention and lacing.

Sugary white bread and tropical fruits with pine and burnt rubber on the end.

This is all burnt rubber, resin, and toasted sesame.

Dry, crisp, well carbonated, and bitter as fuck.

Good IPA all around. Raw and aggressive.

Cheers.
