Rated 3/10/2020. On tap at the brewery. Pours a golden orange color with a minimal head. Aroma and taste are tropical with a solid malt body and taste for a double IPA.

1st review of this beer on BA. Consumed at dipa festival during sfbw on 2/8/20. Love the name, shout out to one of my all time fave movies.
Pours a slightly darker than average brass/copper color with 1/2" white head. Adequate clarity for what amounts to a good looking beer. The nose gave some hints of pear and pineapple, possible Galaxy hop here, but not the biggest amounts in the nose.
Taste firms up with both a solid bitterness that tastes Simcoe like, but the slightly maltier than average body gives a dallop of sweetness on the backend instead of the expected dry body, came in a bit sweeter and larger, mild stickiness to it after that. Carbonation was fine all the way through. It was a good beer, not a bad nor great beer. I really want to give it a higher score just because it has one of the coolest names in the biz. I'm sure if they had some trademark possibly infringing artwork of Ash or whatnot I would tick it .25 higher in appearance. Did hide the alcohol pretty well, amazed how many brewers are getting real good at that trick.
