This beer pours a clear golden yellow with a small head, basically lacing around the rim of the glass. It has a nice floral sweetness and a little bit of hop flavor. Very good Helles. Rated 8-28-2023

L: Three finger head, hazy golden body.
S: Prominent toasted grain, floral and citrus notes.
T: Toasty grain upfront, quickly becoming hoppier, a touch of fruit rind and pine, a nice bitter backbone. Cereal grain, lemon, and a touch of honey on the finish.
F: Very snappy. High carbonation, dry finish.
O: A zippy bitter lager that isn’t shy and has an admirable level of complexity.

16oz can purchased at Rocket Market, in Spokane, Washington. According to the stamp on the bottom of the can, right next to where it says "SKOL!" in a rather runic looking font, this was canned on March 18, 2024.
Poured into an imperial can glass, this was a clear, golden shade of amber, with a decent sized and long-lived white head. Spotty lace.
Grassy and floral hop aroma paired up with crackery malt notes. A honeyish sweetness is in the mix as well.
The slightly bitter, herbal hoppiness noted in the nose is present upfront in the taste. That gives way to a crackery malt flavor with a slight zip of honey like sweetness. Finish is slightly dry and crisp.
Fairly light bodied, with a crisp and clean mouth feel.
Really nice lager to end the primary job's work week with. I'd very happily hit this again.

Look: Clear as day and light orange in color with a frothy white head that forms and settles fairly quickly to a film, leaving good lacing behind
Aroma: Straw, floral hops, soda crackers, a hint of honey, freshly cut grass, some biscuit, and pilsner malt
Taste: Opens up with a little grassy note and wafts of honey before the floral parade begins, bringing notes of spirea, cherry blossoms, magnolia, and Hall’s honeysuckle to the table. Crackers, straw, and pilsner malt come together and work to keep the balance and closes with light biscuit and flowers
Mouthfeel: Light but full, super clean throughout, medium-high carbonation, and clean and crisp on the finish
Overall: This is a phenomenal Helles lager. Only one of a handful of beers I’ve had from these folks and I can definitely see why this won a gold at GABF in 2021 (per the award logo on the can) as it is really good and well-made. Tremendous depth in both malt and floral hops in such a seemingly ‘basic’ beer but it is anything but basic and needs to be tried by all

Thanks, Chris.
A clear gold with a dense white head with good retention and lacing. The nose is clean, crisp and snappy with a lovely Munich malt sweetness, doughy and creamy, a firm noble hop character, delightfully balanced. However, it does lack the richness of the Chuckanut helles that this is going up against. The palate opens clean, doughy, firmly hoppy with mint and a nice malt character, doughy, creamy, mildly sweet but well balanced. Drying, doughy finish, clean and tasty. The mouthfeel is just a hair disjointed, and the flavors just a little discontinuous, something that's apparent when going against the Chuckanut. Fantastic helles.

Clear golden brew with plenty of foam in the English nonic. Sparkly mouthfeel, light, and bright. Aroma of hay, fresh bread, and clover blossoms. Smooth taste. Can't argue with the judges but it's a bit metallic on my palate.
Just a hint of roasted malt and a mild grainy finish. Slight brambly aftertaste but not real bitterness. This is a zesty but restrained Lager that is easy but satisfying to drink. From the 16 oz can purchased at New Seasons Market. Dated 10/11/21.

Bright & clear, light head with thin lacing. Fresh smell of biscuits and herbs. This won Gold in the '21 GABF, and we can see why. Malt-forward, subdued but distinctive bitterness. Ultra smooth finish. No flaws as there's no place to hide in a Helles.
