Pours a golden yellow color with a small white head and a lemon aroma. Taste is lemon zest and a slight hop bitterness. Better than your standard Pilsner. Rated 8-28-2023

Pours a finger of dense white head into my Willi. Retention is average. Lacing is good. Body is golden yellow, crystal clear, with a modest amount of bubbles coming up. Looks nice.
Nose is heavily hopped with spicy German hops, definitely an American take on the style. Some bready malt underneath, but the hops take center stage. Maybe a little over the top stylistically, but I’m happy with it so far.
Flavor is noticeably hoppy and spicy as well, slightly floral. Some bready malt. Odd finish that first comes across as stale malt, though it seems to actually be lingering grassy hops - it’s a little off-putting at times but generally not very noticeable. This is just stupid hoppy. Tastes nice.
Carbonation is on the higher side. Not heavy, but the carbonation adds some serious body. Bitterness is modest for the majority of the palate, but hits considerably in the finish when the hops really assert themselves. Little to no sweetness, extremely clean and crisp. Solid mouthfeel, between the carbonation and bitterness there has a significant bite here.
Very drinkable.
Overall a tasty Pilsner.
