22 Months Aged Imperial Stout in Weller and Blanton Barrels. Big, bold stout with intense malt sweetness, alcohol and bourbon barrel character. Flavors and aromatics of oak, vanilla, molasses and dark fruit. 2023 release.

This beer pours a very dark brown with a very small head. Taste and aroma are alcohol, bourbon and sweet malt. You don't want this one too cold or you will miss all the flavors. This is the way I like barrel-aged Imperial Stouts. Because I'm not a coffee drinker, I'm not overly fond of that taste in stouts. This beer has no coffee taste and only a slight chocolate flavor. One of my favorite Imperial Stouts. Rated 5-17-2023
