From a 22oz bottle. No date on the bottle.
There was a slight hiss and smoke upon opening the bottle. This beer is a clear looking beer in the glass. The color is a darker golden color. The beer is a bit more still than I was expecting, though there's a few carbonation bubbles rising in the glass. There's a 1 finger white head that dissipated quickly with no lacing on the glass.
This beer's aroma packs a punch. There's a wild funky tartness to the aroma. There's nice notes of key lime in here that are tart and sweet smelling. So earthy smelling with a good floral hit to my nose.
This beer is dominated by the key limes. This beer's flavor switches back and forth. It goes from tart to sweet and repeats this cycle. There's a slight sugar sweetness that does hit on the finish, but isn't offensive at all. It fits right in. There's a slight wild funk to this beer.
The body is great for the style and ABV. There's a clingy feeling from the funk/tart/sweet elements.
Why did I only get one bottle while there? That was a mistake on my part. This is a delicious beer and I will be driving back for more in 2026.
