This American IPA features intense floral and citrus notes utilizing Centennial hops from the Pacific Northwest. Bitterness is bright and balanced without being over the top. Dry-hopped with even more Centennial for an extra punch of pungent hop goodness.

12 oz can (undated?) from an Asheville area Ingles Market.
Markedly floral aroma with tropical fruit notes dominating the flavor. The floral and fruity notes probably lower the perceived bitterness which is moderate.

Picked up a single as part of a mixed sixer at Ingles on Airport Road on 1-10-25 for $12. No canning date; consumed 2-14-25.
Beer poured dark gold with an awesome white head that has near perfect hang time.
Nose is given me a lighter dose of floral and citrus hops.
Taste is classic WCIPA. A lighter malt base works well with the C hops which are giving grapefruit with a touch of orange. Finish is a nice piney bitterness; 7/10 on my scale.
Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and both smooth and refreshing.
Overall, a solid westie!

Look: It pours golden with an off white pillow like head. Head retention is excellent.
Smell: It has a strong stone fruit aroma most resembling peaches. There are background aromas of citrus and floral.
Taste: In the flavor the floral elements are stronger than the stone fruit. The citrus is very low in the background. There is also a low grainy sweet presence.
Feel: It has a medium body with a medium high hop bitterness that is a touch sharp.
Overall, the hops seem a bit livelier as far as freshness goes most like you had just thrown then in the kettle with provides an interesting aroma. The flavor work well as well.

A- pours a slightly hazy, golden orange with a vanishing thin head.
S- nose is very, very slight with some floral and piney notes to go with some straightforward bready, sweet malts.
T- solid malty backbone, plenty of piney hops with some peaty, earthy contributions. Floral notes as well, but in the background. No missing that dry-hop contribution, but the bitter is soft and does not overwhelm or linger harshly.
O- Solid, unassuming, back-to-basics IPA. A joy to come back to between the NEIPAS, doubles, triples, and reaching variants.
