Ryewine brewed with 4 kinds of rye (68% of the mash) then aged in Wild Turkey and Buffalo Trace Rye barrels for 23 months.

Had on tap. Opaque black with brown edging, tan finger of foam. Smells strongly of rye bathed in bourbon with earth and oak, rounded out by baker's chocolate. Taste is much the same, barrel leads here instead of rye, but surrounding elements the same. Feel is warm, full, medium-heavy bodied, and has a sneaky ruggedness. The wife loved it.
