Complex bouquet of roasty aromas accented with a hint of coffee. This beer derives its bold and unique flavor and color from the heavy use of brown malt (or snap malt). An awesome beer on its own and also one of our favorites for pairing with food-- from steak to BBQ, to anything spicy, and beyond.

Light brown color with a small head, and a slight roasted malt taste. Very average in taste. Drinkable but nothing outstanding about it. My wife likes Red Ale, and they suggested this and she didn't like it all that much and decided on a stout instead. Rated 1-13-2019
