Formerly the BCB IPA... We didn't hold back anywhere with this IPA. Large addition of Mosaic, Amarillo, Simcoe and Cascade hops in both the boil and in the fermenter. Its balanced body sets the perfect stage for this hoppy delicacy.

just my second beer ever from these guys, an excellent ipa, robust and somewhat recognizable, but also with a lot of its own personality too, really technically solid, and drinkable as they go, i would have liked this even better if my hockey team wasnt collapsing while i was drinking this, but such is life at playoff time. different can than is pictured here, a sort of low key vintage surfy vibe now, sharp packaging, mine says 6.7% abv, maybe this has come down some. a honey color to this, very light cloudiness but its not a hazy, not at all and the head is a beauty, over an inch tall, airy and light, and with great retention and lace as well, well enough refined without being reduced by filtration it appears, im good with that. aroma is great, simcoe forward to me with grapefruit and even lemon notes there, some woodsy intensity, but more fruit than forest to me, pineapple from the mosaic, mid level bitterness, juicy, definitely fresh, and with just a soft toasted note to the pale barley this appears to be built with, neutral ferment, clean and tidy but with some high tone almost estery fruitiness from these hops. the flavor is just like the nose, early orange and melon, later tropical character and light botanical snap, along with the bitterness and mild malt sweetness thats not at all out of place, the whole thing is light overall as these go, even though im making it sound pretty bold, which it also is, both can be true, i definitely want to have more than one, but its also darn hoppy on the palate, clean as it does finish, refreshing even as the style goes. i like the summery fruity nature of the hops, but also this still being decidedly northwestern in its overall makeup, timeless in a way, very professionally done. i was stoked to see this for sale in idaho and hope that means theres more beer around from there guys or on the way, ive been stoked on what little ive had from them, so very enthused to drink some more. really solid everyday type ipa here!

Draft at the Handlebar. Clear, golden pour, small head dwindles, thin rings of lacing. Fruity aroma. Taste is fruity, grainy, hard to place. Overall decent, but hard to pin down.

Pours an off golden color with a small head, has a strong piney/citrus hop flavor which is bright. Smooth for an IPA, no real bite aftertaste from the hops. Very drinkable. Middle of the road IPA, not bad, but not excellent. Rated 1-13-2019

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a lightly hazy, medium golden amber with fine, two finger white head with great retention and thick lacing. Aroma of mildly caramel and pale malt, citrus hops, orange and lemon, a hint of pineapple and dankness. Flavor is biscuit and pale malt, citrus and lightly piney hops, grapefruit, lemon, pine, hints of light stone fruit. Nice piney and citrus rind hop finish. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. A good introduction to this brewery; a full bodied, robust west coast style IPA with a little English influence in the malt. Hops are definitely West Coast, with the Citra and Simcoe notes very clear. Good hop bill, well done.
