Draft at brewery. Lightly hazy, small foamy head fades. Big bready aroma. Slick and oily, medium weight. Taste favors the grains as well . A bit of hops, but could use some more.

they had this at 5.1% abv when i was in, but this is an very solid pils, clean and bright, well done on the lagering, refreshing with high carbonation, and very fresh tasting to me, its nice to have so many solid locally made pils and american pale lager types available here in the boise market! this is shiny yellow in color with excellent clarity and a high rising white head on it, pretty pour in the proper glass in here. aroma and flavor are familiar, lighter on the grain side than many, all the way dry, and with a fresh and crisp classic pils malt flavor to it and nothing really else, clean and tidy, summery somehow. the lager yeast is real mild here, not as distinct as i generally like in the old world examples of the style, but i like how refined it is here, and how efficient its been. the hops stand out a little bit because they arent all in the finish, which i dig, and there is a peppy bitterness at the end that helps make the finish snappy. its somewhat unexciting beer, but it tastes and feels right, and this is pretty well done overall. definitely drinkable, nice for the spring here.
