On-tap at Hawks Stadium, served in a plastic Coors Light cup, yay! Unfiltered and hazy-looking, deeper golden with a foamy off-white head. Balanced hop and malt bills, seem to accentuate each other without getting crazy either direction...malty, somewhat toasted grains, smooth, juicy and dank hops intermingle, somewhat floral and earthy too. Balanced and enjoyable, not overly special but not bad either, pretty good for $3 at a ball game.

Draft at brewery. Dark golden pour with a thin, tight head, lots of lacing. Musty, herbal, woody aroma. Taste is both bitter and sweet, light piney notes, jujubes. Very interesting show ase for the hops.

more unfiltered than hazy and new england looking, soft haze is all, nice white head from the tap at the new location, a rusty orange tone to the beer. it smells a little less than perfectly fresh, not oxidized or old but just not quite popping, perhaps a little overly malty in that sense, and bold as the hops are, with the grain on it and the way the bitterness rises up, this almost hits like american pale ale, slightly toasted on the grain side, more generic hoppiness than specific fruit or herb or other nuance, the balance is easy to appreciate, but this feels a little safe, unremarkable in some ways, and frankly not amazingly well executed. these guys had been on a little roll with their new stuff, but this one is just a beer to me, not a standout in any way. faint orange peel in the nose, cereal malt and light honey, mellow weed, pine, and grapefruit, but it all runs together a little bit. there is a mild sweetness which extends this pleasantly, even through the bitterness that rises up. the ferment is quite as tidy as it could be, and this one just reads a little amateur to me overall. cool they have moved into the old county line space, but the beers i had here didnt show as much progress as i think i was expecting to observe...
