Deep black color with a thick caramel head with good retention.
Aroma with lots of licorice, cocoa, pine towards moth-balls, plums and grains.
Flavor with notes of smoke, plums, grains, pine, some coffee, toasted malts and licorice. Dry and bitter aftertaste.
Medium to full velvety body with appropriate carbonation. Alcohol of 7% is absent.
Hoppy Foreign Extra Stout with lots of pine that almost border moth-balls notes. Still, this was decent enough.
